It was the one thing Riku hated, and feared most in the world, in fact he would rather do anything, anything but what he was about to do.  Ask him to jump of a cliff and into the ocean, he would do it without a second thought.  Ask him to sky dive, okay fun.  Ask him to bungee jump, awesome. Ask him to ride a bike over burning tires without any protective, okay maybe not that, he did know where to draw the line.  Those dares however were much preferable to what he was being asked to do by his boyfriend. So as they neared their destination Riku slowed his pace to a near crawl. It was not surprise when Sora stopped and turned to face him.

“Riku, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.”  Sora said.

Taking in Sora’s face his eyes full of understanding and love, Riku felt warm knowing he was the recipient of that look.  He almost knew he could do anything for Sora and he decided to tell him so.

“I want to. I’m just nervous” Riku admitted.

The beaming smile Sora gave him was enough to erase the thoughts of the horrors that awaited him.  They began walking again and once they were in front of their destination they stopped.  Sora raised his hand and knocked.  They waited and Riku felt the nervous feeling returning.

Suddenly Sora’s hand was in his, warm and strong.  He turned to Riku and gave him a smile and a slight squeeze with his hand. Before the door was opened Sora leaned towards Riku and whispered.  “I’ll make it up to you.”

The door opened and Sora was pulled into a hug and a kiss.  After Sora was done being gushed over, Sora’s mother turned to Riku.

“And you must be Riku.  It is a pleasure to finally meet you!”  She said cheerfully giving Riku the look he knew so well, the look Sora gave him which promised a night full of mortifying embarrassment.

Riku was pulled into a hug which was a good thing since a small smirk had stolen over his lips as he thought of the ways Sora could make it up to him.
